We are offering a counselling group intervention focused on sharing personal stories as Asian Canadians.Designed to foster connection through witnessing and sharing personal stories related to your racial identity.
What will we do:
In the group you will develop and share stories designed to explore your Asian Canadian identity in a guided manner. These stories will connect to experiences related to place, race, self, and family and include the following themes:
- Where are you really from
- My experience of racial wounds
- Am I "good enough"?
- My family expectations
Each theme will have reflective questions to help guide your story development. During the program, you will then share your story and witness stories from others.
If you:
- Are of Asian heritage (including multiracial and all regions of Asia)
- 18 years or older
- Are at least 1.5 generation Asian Canadian (i.e., was living in Canada before 16 years old) or lived in Canada for most of your life

If we are unable to fill all available spots by the start date, we kindly ask for your patience as we continue to enroll additional clients.
In this case, the program start date will be delayed on a week-by-week basis until all spots are filled. This approach ensures that each client benefits from the collective connection and shared healing that group therapy offers.
